Sara described herself to me as a blank canvas, she also mentioned how much she loved my designs and how much she wanted me to create her something totally unique. Together we designed four bridal garments. Her strapless dress – is made using 3d flower lace and every flower on her bodice is attached by hand and centred with a pearl. The dress is constructed over a fitted corset, for comfort & to make sure the dress is locked in place. Worn over Sara’s dress is a detachable long-sleeved top with more hand-sewn lace & pearl detailing. It attaches to the dress with pearl buttons along the waist, to ensure the two pieces lined up seamlessly. The overskirt is edged in crinoline & the waistband is lined with more tiny sea pearls. The final piece is the cathedral length veil that has LOTS of 3d lace flowers hand stitched over the veil clip & hem.
